LUX: The Permanence of Light in The Absence of The Camera

Being in the darkroom is a meditation for me. Often, I forget whether my eyes are open or closed. It doesn’t matter, because I know that the images I am about to create, I have never seen with my eyes before.
In my process, I am using light as a means to illuminate the recesses of my mind and translate what exists in that realm onto photosensitive color darkroom paper. For me, these cameraless works are both the purest form of photography and also my liberation from the limitations that using a camera would normally impose on me.
